• This machine is an equipment for users to borrow and return books of the library. It offers inquiry and renewal by clicking the query button to view account information, such as the details and due dates of borrowed books. When the book is about to due, users can click 'renew' to extend the loan period. The self-service machine effectively improves the circulation rate of books and simplify the borrowing/returning process.

Steps

• To borrow books, click on 'Borrow books' - Scan card to retrieve patron information - Enter your password on the screen and click 'Continue' - Put the books in 'Book scanning area' -- Click 'Finish'

• To return books, click on 'Return books'-- Put the books in 'Book scanning area' -- Click 'Finish'

• To renew books, click on 'Renew' –Scan card to retrieve patron information -- On the screen choose the book you want to renew -- click on 'renew'-- Renewed – Sign out

• To inquire, click on 'Query', scan card to retrieve patron information – Sign out
