Library Opening Arrangements During the Summer Holiday of 2026

Dear patrons,

According to the university arrangement, during the summer vacation ( June 29 to September 3), Yidan Library, Lynn Library, and the Learning Nexus will be closed partially for the renovation work, maintenance of power supply, and library cleaning. The specific schedule and service arrangement are as follows:

Reminder: Please make your borrowing arrangements in accordance with the closure schedule. When you leave, remember to take your personal belongings with you to avoid any inconvenience during the closure period.

2. Extension of the borrowing period for books and JD Reads

Books and JD Reads that are due between June 29 and September 13 can be returned before September 13, 2026.

3. Borrow by appointment

From July 6 to September 6, when the Lynn library is closed, books in Lynn Library must be borrowed by appointment. If needed indeed, a call can be made on a book as specified below:

3.1 Find the information about the book on the library website. Send the information of the book (title, author, and call number) and the user information (name, Campus Card No., and cell phone number) to: lib_ref@sustech.edu.cn.

3.2 After receiving the required information, the library staff will send an email or call the user, informing him or her how to pick up the book.
