Database Introduction:

The Science Video Index (SVI) database was jointly developed over a seven-year period by a team of experts of various research fields from both domestic and international institutions.

The team has collected and organized a large number of high-quality academic video resources scattered across websites worldwide through rigorous evaluation criteria and screening mechanisms. The index database links more than 30,000 high-quality academic lectures, over 3,000 premium courses, and recordings from more than 3,300 renowned domestic and international academic conferences, covering over 32,000 conference videos, with a total of more than 80,000 video metadata entries. Through intelligent indexing, semantic organization, interdisciplinary association, and multilingual retrieval, SVI has established a central repository for academic video metadata, improving the efficiency of resource collection, screening, and utilization for users.

The SVI database not only helps users keep abreast of the latest research trends and cutting-edge viewpoints in various disciplines, but also provides strong support for the intelligent and digital construction of libraries in universities and research institutions.
