IEEE Xplore has launched a suite of AI-driven research tools, including Research Navigator and Reading Lens, designed to help researchers deepen academic understanding, quickly absorb new perspectives, and accelerate research progress.

Research Navigator provides a one-stop AI search for IEEE journals and conference papers. It supports multiple methods such as natural language queries and long-text retrieval, accurately capturing user search intentions and seamlessly delivering relevant papers and abstracts for a smooth user experience.

 After opening an article via this tool, the Reading Lens panel will appear on the right side of the page to help users quickly grasp key points. This feature can automatically identify and highlight over 50 categories of key technical terms (e.g., Algorithms, Hardware, Programming Languages) and generate AI-powered term definitions through a Large Language Model (LLM) trained on IEEE literature, effectively breaking down conceptual barriers in reading.

During the beta period, the AI search for IEEE content only includes metadata from IEEE journals/conferences from 2018 to the present. Additionally, the AI features have a concurrency limit of 10 seats. If you are unable to access the service, please try again later.
