In celebration of the 30th World Book and Copyright Day, the SUSTech Library held a series of events, including a featured book exhibition themed “Books Illuminate the World, Science Guides Our Journey”. As a part of the exhibition, the SUSTechers’ Publications are currently on display on the second floor of the Yidan Library. To mark this occasion, the library once again invites all faculty, students, and alumni to contribute relevant materials.
Collection Scope
(1) Official publications by all SUSTechers and alumni, including works published before joining or after leaving SUSTech.
(2) Works in various forms, including authorship, editing, translation, annotation, and proofreading. Collaborative works and manuscripts are also welcome.
(3) Materials related to SUSTech, regardless of the author’s affiliation, such as The Founding Story of SUSTech(南科大创校记).
(4) Non-official publications of substantial reference value, such as SUSTecher(南科人) and Perspectives in Higher Education(高教纵横).
(5) Non-official publications by SUSTechers that meet the collecting standards, such as Introduction to Special Collections of SUSTech Library(图书馆特藏文献鉴赏基础).
(6) If no physical copies are available, related information is welcome so that the library can assist in acquiring them.
Submission Guidelines
(1) Works already in the SUSTechers’ Publications will not be collected again. You may verify through the library website or by contacting library staff prior to submission.
(2) Two copies per title are encouraged—one for the SUSTechers’ Publications and the other for general circulation.
(3) Donors are invited to include a dedication or signature on the title page.
Acknowledgement
For materials that meet the collection standards, the library will provide a Certificate of Submission or Certificate of Donation to the donor.
Management and Access
The SUSTechers’ Publications, as part of the Special Collections, are stored in the Special Collections Room and are available for reference inside the library only, not for circulation. The library will periodically organize related exhibitions.
Collection Period
This notice is effective for an unlimited period.

How to Search the SUSTechers’ Publications
(1) Visit the SUSTech Library website and enter the book title or author name in the “Printed Resources” box and click “Search”.
(2) Check the holding information below. If the call number contains "NKWK" (the abbreviation for "Nan Ke Wen Ku"), the book is already part of the collection and the next step can be skipped. If "NKWK" is not visible, click the record link to view full details.
(3) If "NKWK" still does not appear, the item is not yet in our collection and is eligible for submission.
