Database Introduction
The Chinese Social Sciences Library integrates the latest academic publications of China Social Sciences Press. Its collection includes the Collected Works of Members of the Academic Divisions of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, selected writings of scholars, the Cambridge Histories series, the Doctoral Library of Chinese Social Sciences, the Postdoctoral Library, as well as various monographs, collected works, book series, symposium volumes, anthologies and development reports, textbooks in philosophy and social sciences. It contains more than 5,000 titles, representing key achievements funded by the National Social Science Fund, later-stage funding projects, major humanities and social science outcomes sponsored by the Ministry of Education, and results from the Innovation Project of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
The collection covers major fields in philosophy and the social sciences, including Marxist theory, philosophy, history and archaeology, literature and art, demography and sociology, politics and law, economics and management, education and communication. It features works from leading Chinese academic and research institutions, including the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China and the Central Party School.
Our library provides access to more than 27,500 e-books published up to and including 2026.
