Greetings!Due to changes in publishers' sales policies, ProQuest Ebook Central will discontinue the purchase recommendation service. However, the e-books previously purchased through user requests on the platform remain available for access. If you would like to recommend foreign language books for purchase, please submit your requests via the Library's Book Recommendation System (icaifang).
To improve the efficiency of resource services, the Library will handle foreign language book recommendations in the following ways:
1. Prioritize electronic versions: In general, we will complete the purchase within one week and send the reading link to the patron promptly.
2. Purchase print versions on demand: If you prefer print versions, please specify your preference when submitting the recommendation. Due to international shipping and library processing, foreign language print books are typically available for borrowing 4–6 months after the order is placed.
