Dear patrons,
According to the university arrangement, during the winter holiday from January 22 to February 17, 2024, Library opening hours and services are as follows:
1. Lynn Library and the Learning Nexus
Lynn Library and the Learning Nexus will be closed from January 27 to February 16.When possible, please borrow the books you need from Lynn Library before it is closed.
2. Yidan Library
2.1 During the Spring Festival holiday (February 9-16), only the 24-hour learning area on the first floor will be open from 8:00 to 24:00. Lecture Room, Studio and Classroom reservation will be suspended from February 1 to February 16.
2.2 The service time of Yidan Library Service Desk will be adjusted to 8:30-12:00, 14:00-17:30 from February 1-8. No service provided during the Spring Festival holiday (February 9-16).
3. Extension of the borrowing period for books and JD Reads
Books and JD Reads that are due between January 22 and February 23 can be returned before February 23, 2024.
4. Borrow by appointment
While the Lynn library closes, books cannot be borrowed in the normal way. If needed indeed, a call can be made on a book as specified below:
4.1 Find the information on the book wanted on the library website. Send the information of the book (title, author and call number) and reader’s information (name, Campus Card No. and cell phone number) to: lib_ref@sustech.edu.cn.
4.2 When receiving the required information, the library staff will send an email letter to or call by phone the reader, informing him or her how to pick up the book.
5. Database Off-Campus Access
During the winter break, the majority of electronic resources purchased by the library are accessible off-campus. For detailed information, please refer to the "Library Website - Collections - Electronic Collections - Off-Campus Access" section.
