Elsevier ebooks Activation Notice

Our library has recently subscribed to permanent access to a selection of Elsevier eBooks. We welcome teachers and students to use them and provide us with your feedback on usage and any issues you may encounter.

Elsevier eBooks provide readers with comprehensive, authoritative, reliable, discover-able, easily searchable, and accessible high-quality content. Currently, Elsevier has published over 45,000 books, covering 24 disciplines including Engineering, Materials science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics and Astronomy, Environmental Science, Energy, Earth and Planetary sciences, Computer science, Immunology and Microbiology, Biochemistry/Genetics/Molecular Biology, Biomedical and Medicine, Social Sciences, Economics and Finance. These books are highly recognized and trusted by the industry, providing authoritative, reliable, and high-quality content resources for teaching, research, as well as discipline construction and development.

The Library has bought Elsevier ebooks published before 2020 (except 2015-2017), covering 12 subjects including Biochemistry/Genetics/Molecular Biology; Immunology and Microbiology; Neuroscience; Chemistry; Engineering; Computer science; Energy; Material science; Physics and Astronomy; and Finance. There are also 33 kinds of major reference works such as Comprehensive Membrane Science and Engineering; Encyclopedia of Biological Chemistry and etc. There are 55 book series such as Methods in Enzymology as well as 24 textbooks.

A total of 693 books published by Elsevier in 2022 have been made available this time, covering 9 disciplines: Biochemistry/Genetics/Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Engineering, Earth and Planetary Sciences, Environmental Science, Materials Science, Mathematics, and Computer Science,Pharmacology/Toxicology/Pharmaceutical Science.
