The Library has activated the trial service for Itext eBooks database, welcome faculties and students to use and give us your feedback.

Access Information:

1. Click the URL to enter the textbook list page directly, click the LEB Only button to view the Library's trial resources.

2. The full text of the LEB textbooks can be read online without installing any plug-in.

3. Downloading is not supported during the trial period. VPN remote access or CARSI login access are supported outside the campus network.


Database Introduction

Itext is an aggregated e-textbook platform launched by China Education publication Import and Export Co., LTD. Relying on the special funds of the foreign journals in the Ministry of Education and organized by theTsinghua University Library, 12 joint procurement centers have formed an expert team to carefully select and pick high-quality electronic textbook resources from many international well-known publishers.

Itext has selected textbooks from world leading educational and academic publishers such as Wiley, CRC and Cambridge University Press. The trial textbooks cover many sub-disciplines in the fields of science, technology, medicine, economics and management. The trial textbooks span from 2000 to 2022.

Cambridge University Press maintains high-quality publishing and technological innovation, and continues to provide a variety of high-quality books to readers around the world. Cambridge UP E-text includes classic course textbooks used by many prestigious universities around the world, as well as reference books for undergraduate and graduate students. The books cover disciplines such as mathematics, physics and chemistry, engineering, management, geography, astronomy and meteorology, medicine, etc.

CRC Press publishes excellent science and technology textbooks. More than half of CRC textbooks are used by international universities, more than 2,200 courses use these textbooks every two years, and most of the top 30 universities in the UK and the top 50 universities in the United States use CRC Press textbooks.

Wiley publishes textbooks covering subjects such as science, engineering, mathematics, business and accounting, geography, computer science, statistics, education, psychology and modern linguistics. The books are co-authored by internationally renowned authors and scholars, and have been designated as teaching reference books by MIT, Columbia University, Yale University, Harvard University, Princeton University, Cambridge University and many other internationally renowned universities.
