BioOne

Database Introduction

BioOne is an integrated platform for 191 journals covering biology, ecology, and environmental sciences. BioOne has the most urgent and cutting-edge topics today, such as climate change, ecological and biodiversity conservation, and natural resource management. It is an indispensable and important research literature for students, teachers, and researchers.

In 2014, based on reader recommendations, our library subscribed and opened the BioOne database usage rights, and the subscription period ended on December 31, 2018. During the ordering period, the demand for this database by our school's teachers and students was relatively low, and the single use cost was much higher than that of the same type of database. After discussion and seeking opinions from relevant faculty members, the library has decided not to subscribe to this database anymore. The database was discontinued after the subscription period expired on December 31, 2018. However, literature from 2018 and earlier in this database can still be used.
