After one year’s hard efforts, a new library management system plus discovery system, Alma + Primo, a leading platform in the industry worldwide, went live during the winter vacation. This made our library the sixth library in China using the platform for its operation after the libraries of Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), The Institute of High Energy Physics (Chinese Academy of Sciences), Beijing Normal University, Tsinghua University and Shenzhen MSU-BIT University.
Primo, the discovery system designed for patrons, provides a simple, quick and one-stop platform for searching books and e-books, videos, articles, digital media, and more.
To use Primo, you only need to search in the searching box located on the library homepage. You can choose Printed Resources, SUSTech Search, or Journal Search to search.
On the homepage of Primo, user guide and video are provided on how to login, renew, request, change personal information, and so on.
