Dear patrons:
According to the financial regulations of the university, the expenditure for book acquisition for this year will be completed in December. The library will not be able to purchase books directly on the Internet and will need to purchase books from vendors, which will lead to delay of book arrival. Therefore, the library will suspend the expediting service of “Recommend a Purchase” from December 1, 2018 to February 15, 2019. During the time, recommended Chinese books can be borrowed after 1-2 months of recommendation, and recommended foreign language books can be borrowed after 2-3 months of recommendation. We will notify the patrons by email when the books are available.
Book acquisition fund for 2019 are expected to be in place at the beginning of next semester, then the expediting service of “Recommend a Purchase” will be resumed.
