LibGuides is a one-stop platform to create and share knowledge, which helps our faculty and students to access relevant resources of a certain subject or topic. The subject librarians have created and published 37 LibGuides in total since the beginning of 2020, including 19 Chinese guides and 18 English guides. All guides can be found in “LibGuides” under “Collections” of the library homepage.
There are 5 topic guides: Thesis & Dissertations, ORCID & Publons, EndNote, etc. English Learning Guide, EndNote and ORCID & Publons are available in English.
There are 15 subject guides: Finance, Environmental Science and Engineering, Mechanics and Aerospace Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, etc. Each subject guide is available both in Chinese and English.
On the Home page of Mechanical and Energy Engineering, you can find contact information of the responsible librarian and some general library services.
On the pages of “Books” and “E-Resources”, you can find the commonly used multi-disciplinary databases, subject-related journals and databases, patents and other information that we recommend, which are featured pages for each subject.
Theses, Citing Guide and Information Literacy Introduction are shared pages for each subject guide, including dissertation layout guidelines, citation formats, and information literacy training videos and timetables, etc. They provide a bridge between library resources and disciplines.
More and more guides are being created for patrons, and all suggestions and comments are welcomed to make LibGuides a resource sharing platform for libraries and departments.
